The Internet is a huge driver of job creation in America, and is an enabler of opportunity. With the labor participation rate falling, some of us need that hand up the Internet provides.
If we let every level of government slap a tax on Internet access, we'll put unnecessary friction on Internet activity, and make it all the harder for Americans to find that job, and make the most of that opportunity waiting out there.
So please support H.R. 3086 to make permanent the moratorium on Internet access taxes, and support a discharge to get the bill to an up or down vote as soon as possible. We can't afford to let it expire, election year or not.
